Winter disbursements

We will begin applying aid to student account balances for students attending this Winter semester on January 3rd. Financial aid will not disburse after the first day of the semester until your class participation is confirmed by your instructor.

Receiving Your Aid

Loan enrollment requirements

Students must be registered at least half-time in order for WSU to disburse their Federal Direct Loan funds. Half-time enrollment status during the fall and winter semesters is 6 credit hours for undergraduates; 4 credit hours for most graduate students; and 5 credit hours for students in the PharmD and JD programs.

Scholarships, grants and full-time enrollment

Many WSU scholarships and grants require that you be enrolled full-time in order to receive and retain your award. Twelve credit hours is considered full-time for an undergraduate student.
