Following a robust competitive bidding process, Wayne State University has retained the firm of Witt|Kieffer to assist us with a national search for a permanent dean for the School of Business Administration. Margaret Williams, who has served a year as interim dean, is of course eligible to apply for this permanent position.
Dean Farshad Fotouhi of the College of Engineering has graciously agreed to chair the search committee and the faculty will elect its members shortly.
Witt|Kieffer is the nation's only top 10 search firm that specializes entirely in serving the not‑for‑profit sector. Each year Witt/Kieffer conducts more leadership searches in higher education than any search firm in the country. They previously assisted Wayne State with the appointment of Corinne Webb as associate vice president for enrollment management.
If you have questions about the search process, please email Provost@Wayne.edu. Nominations for the position may be forwarded to Witt|Kieffer at WayneBusDean@wittkieffer.com.
