Wayne Law News Wayne Law Public Interest Law Fellow Eric Berg Serving Community, Gaining Valuable Experience Eric Berg, a Wayne State University Law School Public Interest Law Fellow, is dedicated to serving the underserved. His experience as a sixth-grade teacher at an inner-city Miami school significantly impacted the course of his career and life, leading to his current summer position with the Department of the Attorney General of Michigan, Division of Child and Family Services. While these remain effective, high quality methods of communication, they don’t have the immediacy that today’s technology-driven consumers have come to demand with their iPhones and BlackBerrys. Wayne Law Class of 1999 Reunion The Wayne State University Law School Class of 1999 will host its 10-year reunion on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Law School.  Wayne Law Professor Henning an International Authority on White Collar Crime Thanks to what seems to be a recent increase of corruption on Wall Street, Main Street and everywhere in between, Wayne State University Law School Professor Peter Henning’s phone is now ringing more than ever. Professor Henning, a former senior attorney with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and trial attorney with the Department of Justice, is contacted almost daily to give his expert legal advice and opinions on issues related to white collar crime, securities law and professional responsibility. Robert Wartell Distinguished Service Award by the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan at the Section's Annual Summer Conference held at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Mich., July 15-18, 2009. Berlow, of counsel to the Farmington Hills, Michigan law firm of Taubman, Nadis and Neuman, PC, is a past chairperson of the Real Property Law Section and also chaired the Section's Commercial Leasing Committee.
