Wayne Law Student Re-appointed to National ABA CommitteeWayne Law third-year student Solomon Radner was recently re-appointed as the student liaison to the American Bar Association’s (ABA) White Collar Crimes Committee. Radner is the only student liaison to the White Collar Crimes Committee in the country, and is among only 64 law students nationwide chosen as 2009-2010 ABA student liaisons.

The Hon. Linda Hallmark, '77, Oakland County Probate Judge, was the recipient of the 25th Wonder Woman of 2009 award presented by the Women Officials' Network Foundation on April 30, 2009, at The Reserve in Birmingham, Mich. The award is given to those women who significantly contribute civically or professionally to their communities. The focus of the event is to support and acknowledge these women for their accomplishments and to recognize them as role models for other women.

Distinguished Professor of Law Robert Sedler is celebrating 50 years since his graduation from law school. He was honored, along other 50 year members of the bar, by the Michigan State Bar at a luncheon on May 11, 2009. Professor Sedler is also a member of the Kentucky State Bar and, along with a number of other members of the Kentucky Bar, will be honored as a senior counselor at the Bar's annual meeting in Covington, Kentucky on June 12, 2009.
