SMASH Wayne State — a free, three-year residential college prep program for underrepresented high school students interested in STEM — is now accepting applications for 2019. The application deadline is March 1.

African American students sponsoring "Dinner for Winners" celebration for Black History Month African American students sponsoring "Dinner for Winners" celebration for Black History Month  

The Brotherhood, a learning community of young men of color, will hold a series of "fireside chat-style" events on Feb. 5, 12, and 26 as part of the group's "Dinner for Winners" celebration. Each event includes dinner and workshops. RSVP is required. Registration opens Jan. 21.

Dr. Jason Denny will lead an interactive discussion about the ethical dilemmas and decision-making challenges that come with transplant surgery. The event will be held at 1 p.m. on March 1 at Scott Hall in Jaffar Auditorium, located at 540 E. Canfield.
