Department of Theatre and Dance to host new play, "I Am" Department of Theatre and Dance to host new play, "I Am"  

The "Freedom Players, part of the university's Maggie Allese Department of Theatre and Dance, will present two performances of a new play, "I Am," on Feb. 4 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Wayne State University Student Center Building, in room 285. Performances are free to the public.

African American students sponsoring "Dinner for Winners" celebration for Black History Month  

The Brotherhood, a student organization of young men of color, will hold a series of "fireside chat-style" events on Feb. 5, 12, and 26 as part of the group's "Dinner for Winners" celebration. Each event includes dinner and workshops. RSVP is required. Registration is now open.

Surgeon to discuss complexity of ethics in transplant surgery Surgeon to discuss complexity of ethics in transplant surgery  

Dr. Jason Denny will lead an interactive discussion about the ethical dilemmas and decision-making challenges that come with transplant surgery. The event will be held at 1 p.m. on March 1 at Scott Hall in Jaffar Auditorium, located at 540 E. Canfield.
