Dear alumni and friends of WSU Criminology and Criminal Justice,

As you’ll read below, we’ve had some amazing events this past semester. In March, we hosted our inaugural career conference for students. It was wonderful to see professionals from so many fields interact with our students in this daylong event which students loved. Also in March, Professor Jennifer Wareham was acknowledged for her work as the program co-chair of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences 2023 annual conference.

U.S. News names Wayne State’s Online Master’s in Criminal Justice among the best in the nation for 2023 U.S. News names Wayne State’s Online Master’s in Criminal Justice among the best in the nation for 2023  

U.S. News and World Report has once again ranked Wayne State’s online master's in criminal justice program among the best in the state and the nation for 2023. The online program was ranked 39 out of 95 in the Best Online Master's in Criminal Justice Programs.

Inaugural career exploration conference for students Inaugural career exploration conference for students  

This past semester, the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice hosted its inaugural career exploration conference for students. The all-day event brought forty professionals from various career paths to campus for a series of interactive panels. 

Criminal justice career fair newly sponsored and back in person  

After two years of virtual career fairs, the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice was excited to bring it back in person. We welcomed seventy-six organizations from various criminal justice-related industries with almost 200 students and community members.
