A proposed STEM Innovation Learning Center, to be located in the Science and Engineering Library building, has advanced to the planning phase following funding approval by the State of Michigan. When completed, the project will transform 100,000 square feet of space into STEM learning facilities, which will include flexible classrooms, seminar spaces, offices, and instructional labs that are technology-rich and support hands-on and project-based learning.

Pre-occupational therapy and psychology student Michelle Asiedu took the trip of a lifetime this summer — but don’t call it a vacation. Asiedu went to Ghana, West Africa, on a Medical Brigades trip with Wayne State.

In honor of David DiChiera, founder and artistic director of the Michigan Opera Theatre, Ford Motor Company Fund and the Theatre have established a $50,000 scholarship fund for aspiring music students at Wayne State University’s College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts.
