There's still time to purchase discounted student parking passes for the fall semester. This year, the cost for student semester parking passes is $222 — 25 percent less than the planned 2017 rate. The lower cost was recommended by President M. Roy Wilson to help students with their overall attendance costs and to encourage a greater presence on campus. Parking passes can be purchased online or in person at the OneCard/Parking Service Center in the Welcome Center.  

Bana Kabalan, a Wayne State University biology student, has been a part of ecological research and art exhibitions throughout Michigan for several years. She discovered her passion for science and art while in high school, and as a WSU student has challenged herself to merge these interests. 

For nearly 150 years, Wayne State University has been committed to providing affordable access to higher education. This year, the university will broaden its efforts to expand access by waiving the application fee for all first-generation students.
