Sabry M. Attia Endowed Support Fund created at Wayne State School of Social Work
The Sabry M. Attia Endowed Support Fund has been established at the Wayne State University School of Social Work, providing $25,000 to support operations in the school. The fund was established by Mervat Sabry Hassan (CLAS ’98) in honor of her late father, Sabry M. Attia, who came to the United States in 1970 to begin a new life with his family and earned his M.S.W. (1973) and Ph.D. in Education (1985) at Wayne State.
