First-ever Social Justice Student Symposium a success
Congratulations to the student presenters of our inaugural WSU School of Social Work Social Justice Student Symposium! Held on March 24, the symposium was designed to give our students a chance to highlight research or project-based work they have done which may include thesis work, directed study projects, faculty-student projects, or community engagement initiatives. It also featured a keynote lecture on the 12 Grand Challenges of Social Work by Wayne State Assistant Professor of Social Work Suzanne Brown. Thanks to all who attended in support of our Social Work Innovators!
