Michael Kral, Liz Agius and Shantalea Johns are part of a three-year Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention Grant worth $305,354 that has been awarded to Wayne State University.

Wayne State recognized a gift from entrepreneur and philanthropist William Pickard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and four room dedications on June 5. Attendees included honorees Paul Hubbard and Gary White, family members of Nick Scheele and Maribodine Robinson, and civil rights activist Reverend Jesse Jackson, who made an impromptu appearance.
