African American students sponsoring "Dinner for Winners" celebration for Black History Month African American students sponsoring "Dinner for Winners" celebration for Black History Month  

The Brotherhood, a student organization of young men of color, will hold a series of "fireside chat-style" events on Feb. 12 and 26 as part of the group's ongoing "Dinner for Winners" celebration. Each event includes dinner and workshops. RSVP is required. Registration is now open.

W.E.B. DuBois in Ghana  

This lecture by Professor Eboe Hutchful will reflect on sociologist and civil rights leader W.E.B. Du Bois and his eventful stay in Ghana; relations between Africans and African Americans; and the fractured discourse and politics of Pan-Africanism. The lecture will take place at 1 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Bernath Auditorium inside the David Adamany Undergraduate Library at 5155 Gullen Mall.

Dr. Jason Denny will lead an interactive discussion about the ethical dilemmas and decision-making challenges that come with transplant surgery. The event will be held at 1 p.m. on March 1 at Scott Hall in Jaffar Auditorium, located at 540 E. Canfield.
