The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host the Detroit Public Schools Community District College Fair in the Matthaei Physical Education Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 10 and 11. This event provides DPSCD high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to meet with Wayne State admission representatives, receive information about college admission and scholarships, and learn more about WSU.

For more than 25 years, the Saturday Art Therapy Workshop has provided an art therapy experience for children and adults, with supervision from faculty members who are registered art therapists. This year, the workshop runs through Nov. 23, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. each Saturday in Community Arts. The cost is $25 per participant for the full program.

On Oct. 17, join Wayne Law ACLU, Keith Students for Civil Rights, the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and the Federalist Society for a dialogue about more constructive ways to live together with our differences. The conversation — which runs from 4 to 6 p.m. in the David Adamany Undergraduate Library's Bernath Auditorium — will feature John Corvino, dean of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and professor of philosophy at Wayne State University; Robin Fretwell Wilson, University of Illinois College of Law; and moderator Christopher Lund, professor of law at Wayne State University.
