Black Student Union: Flint Water Drive Black Student Union: Flint Water Drive  

The Wayne State University Black Student Union is sponsoring its annual Flint Water Drive, collecting donations of bottled water for the people of Flint, who are still without access to potable water. To schedule drop-off donations, call 313-577-5052. 

DPSCD College Fair  

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host the Detroit Public Schools Community District College Fair in the Matthaei Physical Education Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 11. This event provides DPSCD high school juniors and seniors with an up-close, interactive opportunity to learn more about WSU.

Religious liberty or unjust discrimination: Is peaceful co-existence possible in the culture wars? Religious liberty or unjust discrimination: Is peaceful co-existence possible in the culture wars?  

On Oct. 17, join Wayne Law ACLU, Keith Students for Civil Rights, the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and the Federalist Society for a dialogue about more constructive ways to live together with our differences. The two-hour conversation will begin at 4 p.m. in the David Adamany Undergraduate Library's Bernath Auditorium.

Saturday Art Therapy Workshop  

The Saturday Art Therapy Workshop provides an art therapy experience for children and adults, supervised by faculty who are registered art therapists. This year's workshop runs through Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. each Saturday in Community Arts. The cost is $25 per participant for the full program.
