As a commission appointed by the President of Wayne State University, the Wayne State University President's Commission on the Status of Women strives to increase communication about opportunities and events for women and to raise awareness of women's needs and issues through programming, advocacy, and dissemination of information. We invite all those interested in women's issues to join us in our efforts. 

COSW Emergency Relief Assistance Lottery

The Wayne State University President's Commission on the Status of Women is aiding WSU students whose financial needs have been exacerbated by the current COVID-19 pandemic. This assistance is being provided in the way of Amazon gift cards in the amount of $50.00. As our resources are limited, this assistance will be provided by way of student application and lottery. We will be able to provide up to forty (40) gift cards. If you are interested in participating in this gift card lottery, please fill out this application. Any student of any gender identity is eligible to apply provided you were enrolled/graduated in the Winter 2020 term or are currently enrolled for Spring/Summer 2020.
