I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I wanted to let you know that we have some openings to join the Student Senate. We currently have vacancies for the following representatives

• Member at Large
• Irvin D. Reid Honors College 
• School of Information Sciences
• College of Fine, Performing, and Communication Arts
• College of Engineering
• Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
• Extension Center

If you are interested in filling any of these seats, we are currently accepting applications from students who are passionate about serving and representing their peers. To read more about the work of Student Senate, including some of our initiatives and accomplishments, as well as the duties and responsibilities for filling this seat, head on over to our website at studentsenate.wayne.edu.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Available to attend meetings at 6PM the first and third Thursday of the month
• Meet minimum academic standards as described in our Charter and Bylaws found at studentsenate.wayne.edu/about

If you are interested in getting involved in Student Senate, but do not qualify for the open seats, there are still other opportunities for you to get involved. You can attend our meetings on the first and third Thursdays of every month, attend our town halls, join our project groups, and keep up with our work on our social media channels.
