Wayne State University - School of Medicine

Campus and U.S. Postal Service mail delivery to medical school buildings will resume June 15. Please remember to check your locked departmental mailboxes regularly.

Package delivery will also resume June 15. For the Mott, Lande and Elliman buildings, Shipping and Receiving will make every attempt to deliver packages. If no one is available, packages to those buildings will be returned to Shipping and Receiving for delivery at another time.

For Scott Hall and the Mazurek Education Commons, if packages cannot be delivered directly to your lab or office, Conference Room 1140 in Scott Hall will be used as a temporary holding location to pick up your packages. Central Receiving will leave a note on the door to let you know that a package has been left in Room 1140. The room will be open for package pickup during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Once a package is delivered to Room 1140, it will be the responsibility of the recipient to claim it. It will not be delivered to your lab or office. Once a package is left in Room 1140, Central Receiving will no longer accept responsibility for loss or non-delivery. All responsibility for that package will rest with the recipient.
