Student Center - Wayne State University

We are excited to announce Wayne State’s new ESports Facility is now open and free for all currently enrolled WSU students! Designed with both experienced gamers AND new-to-gaming students in mind, the facility boasts 20 state-of-the-art computer stations in addition to three bring-your-own-console ready TVs.  The ESports Facility is located in the Lower Level of the Student Center and features games such as Fortnite, COD: Warzone, Overwatch, Dota 2, League of Legends, and more.

Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday: 10 am - 10 pm
Saturday: 11 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 11 am - 7 pm

Covid-19 Precautions

We are committed to ensuring the ESports facility is a safe space for our staff and student visitors. Here are some of the precautions in place:

  • As with everywhere else in the Student Center, students are required to wear a mask at all times.
  • Sneeze guards are installed at the desk and between stations.
  • Cleaning wipes are available for students when they enter and leave.
  • All stations are wiped down by our staff at opening, closing, and between use.
  • Certain stations are closed each day to encourage social distancing.
  • Additionally, only 2 people are permitted per TV.
  • No guests are allowed in the space.

The ESports Facility is staffed by the Student Center and supported by Computing & Information Technology, ensuring the care for the space and equipment while providing new and exciting opportunities for Wayne State students. Questions about the facility? Contact esports@wayne.edu
