We are excited to announce that as of Friday, June 11 at 12:00pm we will be fully reinstating our resident guest policy. Wayne State University has developed a guest Campus Daily Screener.

As we remain Warrior Safe and Warrior Strong Housing & Residential Life requires that any guests you check into your building complete the Campus Guest Screener, scan/present the screener to the desk staff, and must wear a mask while in hallways, elevators, or other community spaces.

Please note that all of our prior guest check-in procedures apply. You are permitted to check in a maximum of 2 guests at a time. A few other reminders:

• Always pass through your building’s main entrance. Do not use emergency exits.
• Each guest must be individually checked in with appropriate identification at your building’s front desk.
• Guests must receive and wear a guest badge while in the building.
• If you have a roommate, you should discuss with them whether or not they are comfortable with having guests in your room/apartment.
• Guests must be escorted throughout the building AT ALL TIMES. Remember to wear a mask!
• Always remember to check out your guest and return the guest badge when they are leaving the building.

We know this has been a stressful year where building and maintaining relationships is more important than ever, and hope that allowing you to check guests in will alleviate some of that stress. This is the first step of many to rebuild our vibrant campus environment.
