Join the 2022 MIACADA Team

Wayne State University has been selected to host the 2022 Michigan Academic Advising Association (MIACADA) Annual Conference on Friday, May 20, 2022. Conference co-chairs Rachel Pawlowski and Laura Hetzler are eager to build strong sub-committees are have created a form for WSU advisors to indicate their area of interest and how they would like to get involved.  Please submit your response by 5 p.m. on Wednesday July 21. Committee chairs will be notified in early August.

2021 Academic Advising Summit Call for Proposals

The WSU 2021 Academic Advising Summit will be held virtually this year on Thursday, October 14, 2021. The theme this year is "The Joy of Advising: Recipes for Success" and all members of the WSU advising community are invited to submit a presentation proposal for consideration. Session #3 of the Power to the Transfer series. This session takes a closer look at possible barriers and opportunities at WSU toward the creation of a Transfer Receptive Culture with the goal of generating future action steps and initiatives. RSVP suggested but not required. All are welcome!
