"Get On Board" with Nonprofit Enterprise at Work (NEW) for a presentation about board service, focusing on board roles and responsibilities, getting started in board service, and effective engagement as aboard member. The session will be designed for both people who are new to board service, as well as those who are already serving on boards. The session will be interactive with opportunities to both share information with participants as well as invite questions and engage in discussion. This presentation is hosted by the AAC Volunteer Committee and the ATA.

2021 AAC Advising Summit Registration 2021 AAC Advising Summit Registration  

On behalf of the Academic Advising Council, you’re invited to register for the 2021 Academic Advising Summit: "The Joy of Advising: Recipes for Success"The summit will take place on Thursday, October 14 from 12-5 p.m. via ZOOM. Links to join each session will be sent at registration deadline. The deadline to register is Monday, October 11, 2021. Click the link in the title to RSVP.

"WSU Advising Community Joy of Cooking" cookbook

 

The title of the October 14 Academic Advising Summit is "The Joy of Advising: Recipes for Success."  As a fun activity for the summit this year, the Summit committee is asking each member of the WSU advising community to submit their favorite recipe.  This can be an appetizer, a main course, a side dish, or a delicious dessert.  A compilation "WSU Advising Community Joy of Cooking" cookbook will be shared with all attendees!  Please email your recipe by October 1 to Rober Hellar (ac4659) and include: Title, ingredients with measurements, numbered directions, and a picture (if you want to include).
