Get Involved - Wayne State University

Interested in showcasing your Warrior Pride to incoming students?

The Dean of Students Office is looking for spirited student leaders to volunteer their time as Legacy Leaders during Orientation Part Two (O2) on Monday, Aug. 29, and one additional two-hour time block during the first two weeks of class. You will gain valuable experience in leadership development and networking, while earning volunteer hours within the university and officially representing Wayne State in a stylish limited-edition gold jersey.

Legacy Leaders must have completed at least 12 credits at WSU and a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Mandatory training will be held virtually on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 1 to 2 p.m.

If you are passionate about Wayne State and think you can be the leader we are looking for to help engage our new students, please consider applying to volunteer as a 2022 Legacy Leader by Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022.

Please contact Brandon Shamoun, Assistant Director of Student Involvement, with any questions.
