Flu and COVID-19 vaccines

Are you heading home for the holidays? Protect yourself and your family by getting the flu and/or COVID-19 vaccines. Schedule an appointment or walk in.

Important: Patient portal will close Dec. 31

The Campus Health Center patient portal will be deactivated on Dec. 31, 2023. If you have test results in the portal that you need for future reference, please print or download them before the new year. A new patient portal and online payment service will launch in 2024. If you have questions, please contact our team at 313-577-5041.

“Mental Health in College” webinar series launched

College can be a stressful time, especially in the post-pandemic world. Long periods of stress can cause anxiety in students, which also increases the risk of developing an anxiety disorder. Learn more about what causes stress and anxiety, tips for managing it, and more through the Campus Health Center's "Dealing with Anxiety and Stress in College" webinar series. View webinars here.

Recently launched topics include:

  • "Test-Taking Anxiety"
  • "Treating and Managing Anxiety"
  • "Navigating the Winter Blues and Finals Stress"

Thanks for the feedback

Thank you for participating in the recent Campus Health Center focus groups conducted by a Wayne State master of public health candidate. Our hope was to learn about services, amenities and offerings that WSU students wish to see at the clinic. We will keep you posted on the outcome of the focus groups.

Are you at risk for HIV?

We offer free rapid HIV testing to WSU students, faculty and staff on the first Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Campus Health Center. An appointment is required. You must call 313-577-5041 to secure your spot. Bring your WSU OneCard and/or photo ID to your appointment. Your insurance card is not needed.

Holiday schedule

The Campus Health Center will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. Our answering service will be available while the clinic is closed. If you need medical attention during this time, please reference our list of nearby health care resources. Happy Holidays!

Be well, Warriors
