Save the Date! AHEC Scholars will be able to access the online learning platform starting on Tuesday, October 1st. 

Michigan AHEC is proud to announce our newest partnership with Lawerence Technological University’s (LTU) Physician’s Assistant program starting in the 2024-2025 academic year.

On April 27th, Michigan AHEC hosted a virtual AHEC Scholars Recognition Ceremony. Student groups presented their team-based quality improvement projects and all AHEC Scholars were recognized for completing the 2-year program.

Michigan AHEC Scholar Alumni, Joshua Atherton is a first-year resident at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences training in anesthesiology. He is a graduate of the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. Joshua joined the AHEC Scholars program while in medical school because he saw it as an opportunity to expand his knowledge and apply what he’s learned within the community. 

Michigan AHEC is looking to highlight current AHEC Scholars and alumni in our newsletter and social media.

The Michigan AHEC Scholars Alumni Group was created for alumni of the Michigan AHEC Scholars Program. It allows former students to keep each other informed of their career path, to share ideas, resources and keep in touch.
