The Center for Social Work Research invites you to join us in supporting our students and participate in the annual Social Work Student Research Symposium, which has gone virtual and will be hosted via Canvas.
This event will feature research posters by bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students who are gaining exciting research experience in the advancement of clinical practice and social policy at the national and international levels. Highlighted research projects may include thesis work, directed study projects, faculty-student projects and community engagement initiatives. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the best posters at the BSW, MSW, and PhD levels.
PARTICIPATING IS EASY:
- Self enroll in the Social Work Student Research Community Canvas HERE
- Go to "Modules" or follow the link on the Welcome Page (the event module has a discussion board for each student poster)
- Engage in the discussion by leaving comments on posters between April 6 to 10
Comments can be left for students on their posters between Monday, April 6 - Friday, April 10, 2020. Upon conclusion of the discussion week, judges will provide their assessment and we will make a public announcement of the 2020 winners.
