2020 Academic Recognition Week

Each year, the President's Office and The Office of the Provost host an annual Academic Recognition Ceremony to allow the university community to come together and celebrate the outstanding achievements of faculty, academic staff and graduate students. Although COVID-19 foiled our plans, we are pleased to host Academic Recognition Week to virtually honor and showcase the achievements of our faculty, staff and students. Look for daily emails and Twitter posts (@WSUFacSuccess) this week as we celebrate the awardees.

President's Award for Excellence in Teaching

The President's Awards for Excellence in Teaching recognize faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to teaching. This year, there are ten awards. Since 1977, 278 Wayne State University faculty members have been recognized for their teaching with these awards.
