WSU brings you a special virtual conversation for Coming Out Week. On Friday, Oct. 9, at noon, Wayne State alumnus John Hunter, Ph.D., and his husband, Harold Kooden, Ph.D., will share their personal coming-out stories. The couple will reflect on their interracial relationship, Hunter's career as an artist and Kooden's work as an LGBTQ activist. A Zoom link will be emailed to registrants.

Black and Blue Against Police Brutality Town Hall  

The Black Student Union and the Social Justice Action Committee of Policing will host the Black and Blue Against Police Brutality Town Hall Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. to inform Wayne State students, faculty, staff and the local community on how to interact and build better relationships with law enforcement agencies, and discuss policy changes. Registrants will receive a Zoom link to the virtual event.
