The Value of Applying for Fellowships

As a follow-up to Dr. Deegan-Krause's National Competitive Scholarship presentation that launched the ATA's International Students and Global Experience series last January, advisors should be aware that the Office of International Programs (OIP) has recorded and print versions of student presentations about the fellowship application process available on their website. Advising Matters

Advising Videos

Through the magic of Zoom, Rebecca Russell, Dept. of Biology, has created some quick, advising-related videos that provide guidance and supportive messaging around some common advising topics: Completing the MI Guest Application and Midterm Grades. And, while these videos were created with Bio students in mind, they could easily be shared to any undergraduate student or used as a template for similar creations. Rebecca is happy to share her work with advisors and students.
