Professional Development Grant application Summer deadline: Friday, June 4

The Tenured Faculty / Academic Staff with ESS Professional Development Grant has funds remaining for summer disbursement. Apply today!

What can this funding be used for?

• Registration costs for virtual or in-person conferences
• Membership fees for professional organizations in your field
• Online professional development seminars and bootcamps including the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) Faculty Success Program

Things to do this Summer

• Check out our Wall of Gratitude, which contains selections from those who participated in Thank A Colleague.
• Speaking of Thank A Colleague, Thank someone yourself today.
• Check out a workshop from the OTL.
• Attend some of the NCFDD's summer programming.
• Apply for a Professional Development Grant.
• Revamp your office space before the next semester starts.
• Take a virtual or socially distanced walking tour of Detroit, or stream one on your own time.
• Other ways to get out and about in Detroit.
• Check out things to do around Michigan.
