This past April, Michigan AHEC hosted a virtual AHEC Scholars Recognition Ceremony. Several student groups presented the results of their practice transformation quality improvement projects and all AHEC scholars were recognized for completing the program.

As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work in the University of Michigan School of Social Work, (UM SSW) Daicia Price is passionate about connecting students to opportunities and experiences that will further their education and help them in their future careers.

Dr. Juliann Binienda, Professor and Director, Division of Population Health Sciences in the Wayne State University School of Medicine's Department of Family Medicine & Public Health Sciences, represented Michigan AHEC by giving two presentations at the 2021 Biennial National AHEC Organization (NAO) conference. The 2021 conference, held virtually June 28-July 2, 2021, marked the 50th Anniversary of AHEC and attracted a record 700 participants from across the country.
