Campus Health Committee

Dear faculty,

As many countries continue to see a decrease in COVID-19 cases, Wayne State University will lift its international travel ban and begin to fund faculty travel again.

Please continue to follow Wayne State’s policies for international travel and monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website for updated travel alerts. When you travel, follow all recommended safety protocols for your destination and submit a Campus Daily Screener upon your return. When you answer the question regarding international travel, one of the Campus Health Center screening staff will contact you — generally within an hour — to conduct a brief screening. They will provide you with directions to permit you to return to campus.

We understand how vital these trips abroad are to fostering collaboration and furthering knowledge, and we are excited to once again support faculty in these endeavors. We are also currently assessing possibilities for reinstating study abroad options and should have information available on that in the near future.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our Warrior community.
