Join TIAA Financial Consultant, Chris Burgess, for a savings and investment overview. During this session, you will:

• Get to know your investing personality and how it could impact the way you allocate your assets.
• Check your savings progress. If you’re not where you need to be, there are ways you can catch up.
• See what else you should consider—like taxes, inflation and what an ordinary day in retirement will look like.

Chris Burgess, Financial Consultant TIAA CREF

Chris Burgess is a Senior Financial Consultant at TIAA (tiaa.org), a Fortune 100 financial services organization and leading provider of asset management and retirement services for the academic, research, medical and cultural fields.

In her role as a Senior Financial Consultant at TIAA, Chris is focused on helping participants plan for their financial well-being and retirement readiness. She meets with employees one-on-one and provides personalized counseling, education and advice, including specific asset allocation and fund selection recommendations based on the plan’s investment options.

Chris began her financial services career in 1996 and has been with TIAA since 2014. She serves our institutional clients in the State or Michigan from the local Southfield (Detroit) TIAA office. She serves the following institutions: Wayne State University, Oakland University, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Kettering University, University of Detroit Mercy, Northwood University, Davenport
University, Cranbrook Educational Community and Detroit Country Day.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from Northwood University. She holds FINRA Series 7, and 63 registrations while maintaining Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses from the States of Michigan and Ohio.
