Dear Faculty,

Please check the online SET screen guide to familiarize yourself with the online SET interface. Your SET coordinator can help you with many typical concerns and is an expert on SET in relation to your departmental policies.

Accessing Online SET: There are three ways to access the Online SET system:   

  • Through the SET link on the left-hand side of the Canvas screen.
  • Through the link provided in the invitation email, or    
  • By logging into the Online SET system directly at wayne.bluera.com/wayne. 

Evaluation Period:  

  • Faculty can now adjust their evaluation dates, click on Faculty Date Adjustments for directions.
  • Please note that the deadline listed beside your class in the SET link in Canvas is not your evaluation end date. It represents the last day you will have access to the class in the online evaluation system as the instructor. 
  • Please review your students' start and end dates via the Response Rate Dashboard by clicking View Settings on each class tab. 
  • Your SET coordinator can assist you with any questions or adjustments to your evaluation dates. Please contact them with any requests or issues you may have. 

The Response Rate Dashboard: Allows faculty to view their student response rate during the evaluation period.     

Supplemental Questions: If you want to tailor specific questions to your course, please consider designing up to ten additional questions and distributing them to students before the evaluation period begins. Instruct students to enter their responses in the Instructor Supplied Items section of Online SET. You will receive responses to these questions in your SET reports. Just remember to keep a copy of the questions and scale so you can interpret the results. 

Scheduled Reports: Quantitative and qualitative reports are released to Faculty about three weeks after the new semester begins.    

COGNOS Report Archive: Reports will be uploaded into the COGNOS report archive two months after the start of the new semester. New Faculty will receive access to the COGNOS report archive at that time.
