Campus Health Center - Wayne State University

The Campus Health Center is launching a mental health triage service on Monday, Oct. 31

Do you need non-emergency mental health services but are unsure where to start? The Campus Health Center's mental health triage can help cut through the clutter. This free, confidential service is available for current Wayne State students beginning Oct. 31.

The first step is to complete a brief triage form (see link below). After you submit your form, you will be contacted by a CHC clinician, who will confirm your needs, ask about your preferences and provide you with resources. Those resources could include on- or off-campus services.

Mental health triage will:

  • help you better understand your mental health needs
  • provide options that align with your needs and preferences
  • connect you to services quickly and efficiently

Mental health triage is a good option for students who are:

  • feeling stressed, overwhelmed or anxious
  • struggling with relationship issues
  • feeling lonely or isolated
  • having trouble adjusting to college life

If you wonder if mental health services could help you navigate your current circumstance, we encourage you to submit a Mental Health Triage Form. Click the link below to begin the process:
