From: Margit Chadwell Dear Class of 2024: Each of you will sit down for a one-on-one meeting with a School of Medicine administrator to finalize and edit your MSPE letter. At that time, you will review your draft Noteworthy Characteristics, Summary Paragraph sections, your academic record, progress and your rotation comments. This required meeting will also be an opportunity for career advising on the specialty of your choice, including where students have matched, target Step 2 scores and how many programs you should be applying to. Your input is pivotal to the development of your MSPE to best highlight you as an individual. As such, we are inviting your input here for the “Noteworthy Characteristics” section that appears on the cover page of your letter as well as the concluding Summary paragraph on the last page. In order to facilitate an effective MSPE meeting and letter that best features your accomplishments, your timely assistance is needed to develop a draft, due by May 31.
