Fulfill your program’s health clearance requirements at Campus Health Center

We offer the following services for clearance exams:

• Urine drug screen $25 due at time of service (Verify your program accepts our results)
• Immunizations (influenza starts in September)
• Tuberculosis testing
• Physicals $60 if insurance does not cover
• Titers (quantitative)

If you need a physical, you can schedule one online. If you do NOT need a physical, we recommend you call 313-577-5041 and schedule by phone to ensure everything you need is included in your visit. Please bring your WSU OneCard, driver’s license/state ID and insurance card to your appointment.

NOTE: All services are billed to insurance unless otherwise indicated.

Use your FREE Campus Health Center visit

Tripped over a skateboard and hurt your foot? Cut your finger cooking? Have a fever, vomiting or sneezing? The Campus Health Center can address most acute conditions and your visit could be free. Same-day appointments are often available.

FREE visit: Every currently enrolled Wayne State student gets one free illness visit per semester. Your free student visit covers the provider's time spent evaluating you and addressing your reasons for coming in. Additional testing and/or procedures needed outside the provider evaluation will be billed to insurance. Not all appointment types qualify for a free visit, such as physicals and wellness exams.

• Allergies
• Cold or flu
• Cough, sore throat, fever
• Earache
• Sinus infection
• Diarrhea and vomiting
• Headache and migraine
• Minor asthma attack
• Back pain
• Animal/Insect bite
• Cut, wound, burn or rash
• Urinary tract infection
• Sprain or strain
• Testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections
• Tuberculosis test
• And much more

NOTE: We do not provide services for work-related/occupational/workers compensation injuries.

The Campus Health Center is hosting an open house to provide an opportunity to tour the clinic, meet a provider, ask questions, and learn more about our programs and services.
