Dear Warriors, Welcome to a new academic year at Wayne State University! This fall is my first as Wayne State's president — I'm thrilled to see our campus bustling as the semester begins. Whether you're a student, faculty or staff member, thank you for making this such a special community. We hope you were able to take part in our Fall Opening activities, which culminated this afternoon with New Student Convocation and FestiFall. These traditions are an important part of the college experience. There are few things more enjoyable than watching students step on campus for the first time or reconnect with classmates after a summer away.
