It’s time to get your flu shot

Wayne State University's flu vaccine requirement will remain in effect for all students, faculty and staff for the fall 2023 semester. To make it easier to get the flu vaccine, the Campus Health Center will host a series of on-campus flu clinics. Refer to the schedule below to pick a date and location that works best with your schedule. Please note that clinics hosted in residential housing are only for students who live in residential housing.

Scheduling notes

  • Flu clinics are NOT at Campus Health Center (except for Sept. 19 and Sept. 21).
  • Clinics in residential housing are for residents only (Wednesdays).
  • To avoid duplicate records, please register for your appointment using your full legal name and WSU AccessID email address.
  • Watch your email for electronic consent forms you can complete prior to your appointment day.
  • Wayne State’s deadline for uploading your flu vaccine documentation is Nov. 15, 2023.

Appointment day reminders

  1. Double-check that you are going to the correct location (refer to calendar for date and corresponding location).
  2. Arrive on time for your appointment.
  3. Bring your WSU OneCard, a government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport) and your insurance card.
  4. We highly recommend scheduling an appointment; walk-ins will be taken as the schedule permits.

 

Appointment scheduling update

To protect your privacy, you must now enter a verification code as part of the appointment scheduling process. You will have the option to receive the code via the text or email associated with the scheduling system. Please contact our front office if you have any problems scheduling; we are happy to help.
