"Healthy College Habits" webinar

Submitted by Noor Abou-Rass: Masters of Public Health student

College can be a stressful time, and many habits — like binge drinking and procrastinating — are often difficult to avoid. Additionally, many students struggle to implement healthy habits, such as getting enough sleep, balancing nutrition and staying active.

  • 27.4% of full-time college students engage in binge drinking
  • 95% of college students fail to eat the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables
  • More than 60% of college students report not getting enough physical activity
  • 86.1% of students wait until the last 24 hours to turn in their work

Learn more about habits to implement  — as well as habits to avoid  —as a college student, resources on campus and online to help, and what you can do to improve your habits through the Campus Health Center's "Healthy College Habits" webinar.

An appointment is required. You must call 313-577-5041 to secure your spot. Bring your WSU OneCard and/or photo ID to your appointment. Your insurance card is not needed.
