Meet the flu vaccine deadlineWayne State University's deadline to submit proof of flu vaccine or a declination form is Wednesday, Nov. 15. To help you meet the deadline, the Campus Health Center (CHC) will host on-site flu clinics Monday, Nov. 13, through Wednesday, Nov. 15. The clinic is located at 5285 Anthony Wayne Drive. Schedule appointment. Please bring your WSU OneCard, government-issued ID and your insurance card to your appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, but to expedite your experience, we highly recommend scheduling your visit. Help is available. The Campus Health Center offers mental health triage to support you with resources to address your needs. This free, confidential service is for currently enrolled WSU students with non-emergency mental health needs only. To start the process, please complete the mental health triage form. After you've submitted the form, a CHC clinician will contact and guide you through the next steps. Webinar series coming soonCollege can be a stressful time, especially in the post-pandemic world. Lengthy periods of stress can cause anxiety in students and increase the risk of developing an anxiety disorder. Free rapid HIV testingWayne State University students, faculty and staff can receive free rapid HIV testing the first Wednesday of each month (Dec. 6, Jan. 3, Feb. 7, March 6, April 3 and May 1) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Campus Health Center. An appointment is required for free rapid HIV testing. Call 313-577-5041 to schedule your appointment.
