On Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m., Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute Director Alissa Huth-Bocks, Ph.D., will introduce the institute's interdisciplinary research, its two graduate-level training programs, and a number of community-based offerings including the on-site Early Childhood Center and the Healthier Urban Families Program.

Community dance day presented by Company One  

Company One dancers welcome those ages 6 and older to join them in Old Main for an exciting day of community dance classes Sunday, Jan. 14, beginning at 10 a.m. Build new relationships and develop essential mind-body awareness in a fun-filled environment. Dance classes include contemporary, jazz, jazz funk, lyrical, improv, ballet and musical theatre.

Martin Luther King Jr., we collaborate every January to host the National Day of Healing from Racism to heal wounds created by racial, ethnic and religious bias and build an equitable and just society where everyone can thrive. Please join us Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the Student Center Ballroom as we host a full day of programming that is free and open to the public.
