A Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Zahertar was selected as the recipient of the 2023-24 WTS Michigan Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship. As the Michigan Chapter winner, her application will be submitted for the International WTS Foundation Scholarship.

Yang, a professor of industrial and systems engineering, recently published a new book titled “Quality in the Era of Industry 4.0.” The book is intended as an insightful guide to harnessing user performance and behavior data through AI and other Industry 4.0 technologies.

Thursday, April 18, 1 p.m.  |  Undergraduate students in the College of Engineering complete a senior project — a design capstone — as part of their degree program. This course is the culmination of their studies and allows them an opportunity to demonstrate how their skills can be used to solve real-world problems.
