This month’s issue is a large one because we are providing you with a detailed list focusing on student relaxation and study spaces on campus and at clinical/hospital sites. A quick backstory: Remember Liaison Committee on Medical Education 2023? Accreditation is our lifeline to providing you with a world-class education. There is an accreditation element dedicated to student study and relaxation space. LCME Element 5.11 ensures medical schools provide adequate student study and relaxation space. This includes providing a variety of environments to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Here are some of element’s key aspects:
