Dear Class of 2028, 

We welcome you to the Wayne State University School of Medicine! You have worked so hard to get to this place in your medical school education. As you embark upon this exciting adventure please know, our main goal is to assist you in thriving throughout your journey through medical school. We will strive to support, empower, and advocate for you. If you experience feelings of being overwhelmed, have moments of self-doubt about career specialties or just need to bounce ideas around, we are here to listen.

We are encouraging you to schedule an annual appointment to meet with your assigned counselor and discuss any medical school concerns that you may have already encountered or to just see how your overall adjustment to medical school is going.
