Accessibility 101 | New faculty seminar series
In this introductory accessibility workshop at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, you will learn how to employ accessibility to reach all your students and how to provide an equitable educational experience to everyone. We will focus on easy steps you will be able to implement right away to make your course more accessible: captions, alternative text for images, descriptive links, and more!
Engaging leadership and dismantling myths
Join us for the third session of our Associate to Full workshop series at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, virtually or in person at Purdy/Kresge Library, room 150 (within the Teaching Commons). This series is designed to provide tenured Associate Professors with tools to support their pursuit of promotion to Professor. In this session, we'll host a panel of department chairs and administrators who have supported faculty in their units on their path to promotion. Please RSVP below whether you intend to join us in person or virtually – a hybrid meeting link will be sent out to all who register.

The WSU Libraries have a broad range of resources and services to support your teaching. Join us at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, to learn about the many different services your library and subject librarian can provide, including a variety of instructional resources to guide students in library research to meet your assignment goals.
