Opportunities and adventures ahead

Well, there we are; we made it.
We loved seeing so many of you at last week's Academic Recognition Ceremony. Check out the photo gallery and program of awardees, and be sure to congratulate our colleagues.
The newsletter will take a break until September, but we won't – we'll be busy planning a new academic year of professional development programming (did you miss a session you were looking forward to this year? Check out our new workshop archive). As we plan, we'd love to hear from you. We value the growth and development of our academic personnel and are committed to understanding how we can better support you in your professional journey.
Please take a moment to share your thoughts on the professional development sessions provided by WSU or external organizations, the support you need to achieve your goals, and your preferred formats for these opportunities. Your input is invaluable in shaping our future efforts to foster a thriving academic environment.
We've wrapped up another semester, and we know you could all use some rest and relaxation, so keep reading for some suggestions on low- to no-cost activities to enjoy in and around Detroit this summer.
