Dear Class of 2026, Thank you to those of you who attended Tuesday's M4 Orientation session. Your attendance was not only greatly appreciated, but it will also help you immensely as you move through this transition period between M3 and M4. Many of you requested access to the slides from the session. Please note, you have just been added to a SOM_Class of 2026 Resources page on Canvas which has the slides and a recording from Tuesday's session, as well as some additional useful information about ACLS scheduling and fourth year courses. The SOM_Class of 2026 Resources page will be your one stop shop for all M4 resources, including important information, links, recordings, updates, etc. Right now, we have all of the information from Tuesday's orientation session uploaded to the page. We are in the process of uploading additional resources, and will continue to use this page to send critical information throughout your senior year, so please get in the habit of checking it often and do not turn off notifications. You also have a pre-registration assignment in your Orientation 1 - 10/15/24 Module due before your next orientation session in December. This assignment is a required complete/incomplete assignment to help you start thinking about your fourth year while there is time to seek help for questions for which you do not have answers. Remember, December orientation sessions are mandatory sessions that will continue to set you up for success. Your sites know about these dates and will excuse you accordingly. If you are on service before or after these sessions, you will be expected to show up before orientation and return to your sites after orientation to continue your clerkship work.
