Good afternoon Class of 2026!

Welcome to your last three month block of clerkships! While you are filling out your Phase 1 Registration Form, it's also time to kick off the registration process for Step 2 CK. You will use the same sign-on for the USMLE site that you used for Step 1.

Things to note:

For most of you, a certification of identity form should not be required. Here are the instances where it is:
- Did you change your name since you took Step 1?
- Has it been more than 5 years since you took Step 1?
- If yes to either, please submit a Certification of Identity Form that can be found in your NBME portal.
Once you register, we'll receive notice to confirm your enrollment. Please allow us 2 business days to complete this task.
Allow NBME about a week from the time we certify for them to send you a permit to select a date.
